Odeola Player in Mason & Risch Piano
By Joel Gauthier

Hello MMDers, With help from John Tuttle, I think I have identified
my player system as a French-made Odeola or Pleyela. In regards
to this, I have two questions. The pictures that John provided are
very close to what I have, but not identical. Can anyone tell me if
it is normal for player pianos to change from year to year?

One of these differences is that my key bellows open to the back,
while John's opened to the front. Also, my wind-motor has more
sliding valves on it than his. Once last note is that it does not
say Odeola or Pleyela anywhere, nor is anything in French.

That was a long question, but my other one is has anyone seen one
of these actions in a Canadian Mason & Risch from 1915? And if so,
_any_ information that you could provide would be quite helpful.
If anyone would like some pictures, please let me know.
