Patching a Wind Motor
By Brian Chesters

In reply to Erik York's question: Anyone with the ability to
remove and patch an airmotor should be able to buy the right
cloth and replace the old with new. I must have renewed the
cloth on 200 player pianos over 35 years and the airmotor normally
takes an evening, perhaps about three hours.

This is not brain surgery, Erik. Get the book by Larry Givens and
the cloth and some glue and have a go. You will have a great sense
of accomplishment when you have finished and will want to do another
just for the hell of it.
