Rebuilding a Wind Motor
By Sam Harris

Compared to the rest of the wind motor rebuild, covering the slide
valves with new cloth is a very minimal job. It can be done in less
than an hour. If there are problems during the testing phase one will
not have to wonder if this cloth is a problem.

While you have it apart go ahead and do a complete rebuild. Leave
nothing old in there. The peace of mind that is obtained from knowing
it was rebuilt "all the way" will be worth every second it takes to do
the job.
