Repairing Broken Transmission Frame

Joel,  The frame is made of pot metal, almost as bad [to repair] as
Ampico frames.  Unfortunately there are not nearly as many Otto Higel
players out there so there are no new frames available.  I, too, have
broken pieces off.  The frame is quite elaborately built, with even
an arm that folds around the side board and covering the end of the
tracker bar.

Good luck with the repair, I think you will be very satisfied with
the player.
