Seek Pianola for Theatre in Ireland
By John Farmer

Do we have any Irish MMDers? I have been approached by a theatre
in Cork who are organising a stage production which requires a player
piano, so they are looking for an instrument, but on a low budget.

Whilst the instrument needs to appear to be working, they are happy to
"fake" it with an electric motor on the roll and taped piano music, so
a defunct or poorly playing instrument would do. The piano won't have
a human operator; it needs to play in the background.

If anyone knows of a good looking but cheap player, either in Ireland
(Republic or NI), or in the UK, which could be donated, or offered for
a low price, please let me know, in the first instance, and I will pass
on details to the theatre. They are happy to collect, including UK
mainland.

Thanks,
John Farmer, UK
