Hi, I was wondering if anyone one could give me a brief history on
Griesbaum singing bird boxes:  when they started and when the last
bird box was made?  I believe they also had other companies sometimes
make the boxes while they made the internal working parts.  I also
know that the bird boxes are being made again with the Griesbaum
equipment but I am only interested in the actual Griesbaum history.

I am particularly interested if anyone has information on this box
I recently purchased.  It is marked "sterling" and has the profile of
a bird on the bottom of the box.  The lever that starts the action is
in the shape of a bird with its wings open.  Photos are posted at
