Arburo Orchestrion
By Vincent Thebault

I am rebuilding my Wilro Demey Arburo-type orchestrion. I don't have
the original front, and I am wondering how the accordion-note function
is realised on this type of organ?

I do have a large connector with all the accordion notes on the organ.
I think that connector might be connected to a "windchest" to prevent
the accordion keys moving when the accordion register is "off." But I
don't know how this "windchest" is constructed. But perhaps the
accordion keys move even if the accordion register is "off," although
this would look strange.

Is there someone to help me with this problem?

Thanks in advance,
Vincent Thébault,
France
