Welte Player Organ at Salomons, UK

This is truly a one of a kind and fascinating instrument.  Luckily,
an expert in the field of Welte organ restoration could be found
in the person of Thomas Jansen of Monschau, Germany.  He took on the
monumental task of restoring the stacks and pneumatic controls of this
frighteningly complex machine.

I know he has documented this work with hundreds of photos.  One can
only hope that he will at some point write up a report on his work and
how it works.  Until then, he has some photos posted on his web site.
