For a parade many years ago I mounted a gasoline engine on top of my
North Tonawanda 156 band organ.  The vibration of the engine shook down
some of the tuning plugs, so that by the end of the parade you could
barely tell the tunes.  I should have known better.

I then had Paul Snidle, of Angola, Indiana, build a float for our
family business, Kaiser's Foodland, to enter into the city's centennial
parade.  This was the float that Art Reblitz mentioned in his letter
that Al Svoboda bought with the Tangley air calliope.  I had my two
daughters riding the carousel horses and we won first prize for floats.

I also entered it in the Fort Wayne, Indiana, State Lions Club convention
parade, for my Angola Lions Club.  They put us at the end of the parade
because of many high school bands.  By the time we reached the viewing
stand, most people had gone home.

Also, a quick mention that Dave Ramey built some of the music animations
at The House On The Rock.
