Well, we should speak of _all_ the varieties of hot glue.  How about
when you want hot glue that takes way longer to firm up for various
purposes?  Such as installing a soundboard where there is lots of space
to glue and it all must be pressed down at the same time.

There are two things you can do, but you definitely do not want to eat
it.  Mix in thiourea when you make the glue.  Or you may do as the old
guys used to do: make up your glue using the morning's first urine
instead of water.  Either one will give you a glue that does not set
for some time after being applied.  This requires very good clamping,
of course.  This stuff is sold in bottles at the woodworking store as
brown carpenter's glue, as well.
