Church Organ Pipes in a Band Organ
By Fritz Gellerman

Back in the dark ages I built a mini band organ based on Caliola rolls.
It used a rank of open flutes from a church organ voiced on low pressure
to permit playing it indoors. The organ has a snare drum, bass drum,
cymbal and bells, all controlled from the Caliola music roll. It's
been a great favorite over the years. The roll could control other
ranks and I think a large band organ also used that roll.

I still have the organ, a picture of it can be seen on my web site
