Henry Holland of London, Barrel Organ Builder
By Eric Stott

Brian Chesters wrote, "One notable organ produced by Henry
Holland was installed at Trinity Church on Wall Street in New York.
I wonder if this organ is still there."

Trinity Church has had a succession of organs in its lifetime.
The last pipe organ was an Aeolian Skinner, unfortunately rendered
inoperative by the effects of 9/11 -- the church is only 200 yards
from Ground Zero and the dust from the collapse ruined the organ.
(Well, that is the claim. The insurance investigators would like
to know just how much dust and corrosion was in the instrument
already...) In 2003 the organ was dismantled and put into storage
to be replaced with a Marshall & Ogletree digital organ.
