Owning a player piano confronts the owner with the problem of piano
rolls accumulating everywhere.  The piano takes up space but a cabinet
adds to the available space problem in a small living room.

The answer?  They actually built benches with the area under the seat
closed in with storage for rolls.  You simply lifted the lid and there
with all the box labels facing up, you could select any piece you might
desire!  That was a great answer to the limited space/clutter problem.
