I acquired a huge (19" x 42") bench in England about 30 years ago.
It has a lift-up lid for sheet music, etc., and the base has roll
storage pigeon holes in different sizes to hold about 60 rolls.
There are a series of sliding doors for access.  There is no need
for a slope as it takes two people to move it! <grin>
