John's daughter here.  Thank you so much for the messages of goodwill
for Dad.  I am sorry to report that he is no better.  After three
weeks of tests in the hospital they are starting to run out of options.
Still no diagnosis so they are unable to treat him except to take wild
guesses.

You will be relieved to hear that we have finally managed to kit
him out with music and are sneaking in a little whisky here and there.
I am picking up his emails each day and relaying the ones sent to my
address.  Thank you again for taking the time to keep in touch with him.
It means such a lot.
