In regard of Hans van Oost's post about killing woodworms I'd want to
share the following:  I have a Hupfeld Phonola Vorsetzer which is full
of woodworms.  Most can be saved, some parts have to be replaced, but
for sure it needs treatment.  I use a chemical which has deltamethrin
in it as the active ingredient.

I'm advised not to use a gas in a sealed chamber, as the methylene
bromide would kill the woodworms but not the eggs, so the problem would
return within a few years.  I don't know whether this is true or not,
but I got the chemical stuff anyway so I might as well use it.

So far my contribution to the woodworm treatment, but what about the
instrument?  The primary valve stack is full of holes (besides the ones
that have to be there).  Channels are leaking to atmosphere and to each
other.  What is best way to fix this apart from making a new deck?  The
holes on the outside can easily be filled, but what about holes on the
inside, in air channels and so on?

It seems to me the best way is to pour some sealant in it and let it
set on the inside channels and then pour out the excess, but any idea
or advice is welcome.
