Regular readers of this site will know that I was trying to locate
a small and quiet blower for the "Searliola", a 44-note wooden pipe
hand-played (no roll frame) ersatz Caliola.

A nice guy in England sent me three tiny units which, although they
do put out enough air, refuse to be silenced with a supposedly
soundproofed baffle box.  But they won't shut up, and can be heard
behind the music.

I considered a PPCo blower, but the premier mechanical instrument guru
recommended against this.  Can anyone tell me if they have used one,
and if so, how silent is it?  Thanks for any input you can give me.

 [ The only production residence instrument I know of with a turbine
 [ blower is the Estey reproducing piano with the Motora turbine unit.
 [ All other compact residence instruments use a low-speed bellows
 [ pump.  The turbine blowers for large residence organs are in the
 [ basement or an external concrete blockhouse, because of the noise!
