For info to all concerned:  Ralf Smolne, the president of the German
Society for Self-Playing Musical Instruments (GSM), has had serious
injuries resulting from a fall at his home and is in a rehabilitation
hospital where he will probably remain for some time.  His injuries
are serious but not life threatening.

As I get further information I'll pass it along.  Good wishes for
a speedy recovery may be sent to <Vorsitzender@musica-mechanica.de>
but probably will not be answered for a while.
