Typically 1140 rpm 1/8-horsepower motors were used in pianos with
mandolin and xylophone, and in most Coinola machines except CO and SO
which have a bigger pump and use the 1/6 hp motor.

A 1/6 hp 1140 rpm motor was used in pianos with pipes: Seeburg F's,
K's, etc., and Cremona G, K & J.

1750 rpm used in Wurlitzer Pianino with pipes.
1750 rpm used in Wurlitzer with racehorse.

motor data for Seeburg pianos.

 [ I believe the slower 1140 rpm motor was used because no extra
 [ intermediate-speed shaft was needed; with a small pulley on its
 [ shaft the slow motor could spin the pump wheel directly.

 [ 1/8 horsepower was adequate for all machines except those with
 [ reiterating xylophone and/or pipes.  But motors of actual 1/6 and
 [ 1/4 horsepower size might be installed anyhow because they cost
