Seek Pins for Barrel Piano Cylinder
By George Kiriakidis

Dear friends, I have a beautiful Turconi barrel piano which is my pride
and joy. It came with a spare barrel which is only partially pinned by
a previous owner who appears to have given it a try and seemed to quit
not far into it.

It's an ambition of mine to try pin this barrel myself, though I am
lost as to where to begin looking for the pins. Some are round
(approximately 1.7 mm diameter), fairly long (approx. 35-40 mm) and
taper to a very fine point. Others are square and have a beveled top
for the trill notes.

I have approached repetition engineers and nail manufacturers with no
luck. Can someone out there please give me a lead?

Many thanks indeed,
George Kiriakidis
