Bush & Lane Unitype Player Action
By Earl Hennagir

Well, you know the old story about storage (space) problems and
player pianos, etc. I have a pretty decent Bush & Lane player with
a [single-tier] Unitype action in it. I've lost the storage that
I've had a number of pianos in for the last 6 or 8 years and I have
some decisions to make.

Has anyone had any luck re-building these types of players? I only
find two enquiries on the MMD for this type of action and no responses.
So, I really don't know what to think of the thing. I'm not going to
haul it to the dump, as it is a nice piano, but if that type of player
stack is a problem then I might as well let someone have the piano to
play by hand. They are clever looking actions and must have worked
with little suction as the bellows are sure small. Thanks now for
your expertise.
