Hello Karl, I listened to the tunes and, for the number 3, I just
can tell you that it is a very famous song of Swiss folklore, or more
precisely, "Fribourgeois folklore". This song is entitled "Le Ranz
des Vaches" [the walking of cows] with the well known "Lyoba" [call
to milking].

Neither the composer nor the origin of this song is known. The words
and melody were published for the first time in 1813 by Brider, the
senior pastor of the canton of Vaud.

It is known that the song existed already in 18th century and that it
was well known by the "gruériens" [citizens of the Gruyère area of the
Fribourg canton, Switzerland]. Young men of Gruyère recruited into
the Swiss Guard of the kings of France had the troublesome tendency to
desert the guard or else endure great homesickness when they heard this
song. It was therefore forbidden to sing it in the Court of Versailles!

And for the other tunes, I'm sorry I can't help you.

Best regards,
Jean-Marc Cerutti
