I was just at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park (Anaheim), Calif.,
yesterday with my family.  In the museum there they have several
mechanical musical instruments, none of which are currently working.
They have what looks like an A-roll player piano, a Seeburg keyboard-
less piano, a Violano Virtuoso, a very rare Edison multi-cylinder
record player, and two animatronic displays that also play music.

I asked the curator there why all of these things were out of order.
He said the man who used to repair them retired, and they haven't been
able to find anyone to repair them.

I didn't inquire more because we were in a rush to get to the rides.
But I thought I would mention it here to see if anyone in Southern
California might be interested in fixing these great instruments.  I
understand they were purchased by Mr. Knott himself between the 1920s
and 30s, along with many other instruments that have since been
auctioned off.

I don't have any contact information, but you can see the instruments
for yourself and talk to the curator in the museum there in the park.
