Many thanks to all those who responded to my "uneducated" query 
about this Pianola.  It was obviously not as unusual as I thought, 
not knowing that later Half-Duo-Arts had these markings.  However, 
I am still inclined to think that such a beast would be slightly 
more desirable than a straight Pianola.
