Re: my non-flattering comments about the half Duo-Art, let me be clear.
It is my belief that, without exception, everything Aeolian made was a
worthy product.  The Steck half Duo-Art that I owned for a number of
years was no exception.  The only problems I had was recovering from
the excitement that I initially felt, believing I had something pretty 
close to a full Duo-Art pianola.

If you consider a half Duo-Art as a top-grade player piano with extras,
you will not be disappointed.  If you want to listen seriously to
your Duo-Art rolls, you probably will be.  I suppose I felt a bit sorry
for the folks in the '20s who perhaps may not have realized what they
were buying.
