John Malone, owner of Play-Rite Music Rolls, Inc., Turlock, Calif.,
writes me that he is willing to set up one of the perforators to cut
rolls using the Wurlitzer hole spacing.  But he needs at least fifty
rolls of that spacing to copy before it is worth the trouble of install-
ing the Wurlitzer dies and doing everything else he needs to do when
changing format.

I certainly don't have fifty rolls ready to go.  Oh for the days of Ray
Siou!

Does anyone have any jobs of that type ready to send?  That would proba-
bly be Wurlitzer APP rolls or style 165 rolls, although I suppose it
could also include style 125 or 150 or Caliola.

You have to take a complete run of copies of whatever you have Play-
Rite cut, which usually amounts to about 16 to 18 copies.  Or that used
to be the rule.  Maybe Play-Rite will cut smaller runs, although the
machine time is the same and the labor involved is almost the same as
for a full run.
