FS: Player Piano by J. P. Seeburg
By Jere DeBacker

I have a Seeburg player piano for sale. It is something more special
than the ordinary player piano. Here's what Art Reblitz had to say
about it:

"It was made in 1921, when Seeburg was worried that Prohibition would
ruin the market for coin-operated instruments in taverns, and decided
to build and promote home player pianos. Before long, the large
night clubs and other lavish drinking establishments that were shut
down by the federal government were replaced by thousands of small
speakeasies, many of which became good customers for little
keyboard-less Seeburg coin pianos and orchestrions, so Seeburg
actually produced very few home instruments. Seeburg serial numbers
in the [Pierce Piano] Atlas are incorrect."

This particular instrument has been in Colorado it's whole life and
is clean as a whistle. It's been tuned, regulated and the essentials
done on the player action. It works and plays beautifully. I'm asking
$2800 or best offer.

Thanks very much,
Jere DeBacker
