I recently acquired an orphaned Ampico B system from a Chickering
grand.  There is a plaque on the drawer that says it was built for
an Elizabeth Leonard and a Marshall & Wendell piano, no. 118180,
dated November 1, 1934.  Obviously it didn't make it to the Marshall
& Wendell.  The plaque is located where an Ampichron would have been
placed.

The action is complete in every respect.  It was carefully removed
with every screw, expression component, stack, stack covers, pump,
motor, the complete drawer with mountings, etc., and it is in excellent
unrestored condition.

I had plans to put it an different piano but it is now taking up space
in my home in Bethlehem, PA.  Asking $2,800 but the buyer must arrange
to pick up the unit.
