For many years at the top of my Ampico want list has been
71673, Harmonious Blacksmith by Handel, played by Moriz Rosenthal.
I have never seen it for sale on any auction list.  Does it exist?
Does anyone have a copy?  If there is a copy anywhere would the
owner be willing to lend it for scanning and duplicating?

I really like all the other Rosenthal performances on Ampico and
would like to get this one which happens to be one of the last
classical rolls to be issued by Ampico.  According to the Obenchain
Ampico catalog, there was a stretch of time from 1931 until 1936
when most of the rolls in the "classical" series were pop medleys
and only a handful of true classical rolls were issued.

Then, starting in the summer of 1936, there was a spurt of about
a dozen new classical Ampico performances in a period of just over
a year.  The Rosenthal roll was nearly the last of these.  A little
later, five Paderewski performances were converted from Duo-Art, then
there were no more classical rolls in the last years of production.
