Dear Matthew,  The composer of "Durch Nacht zum Licht" was Emil
Laukien.  This march seems to be confused quite often with
"Per aspera ad astra".  Its title has the same meaning as "Durch
Nacht zum Licht" but [Per aspera] was composed by Ernst Urbach.
