I, too, followed the eBay auction on the "King Of Ragtime" piano roll.
I have done some business with the buyer and he is indeed a collector
among collectors.  I got the feeling in watching the auction that it
finally involved at least equal portions of "auction ego" between two
collectors, as much as it concerned the roll up for bid!
