Berry-Wood Auto-Orchestra Rolls
By Matthew Caulfield

Back in the 1950's the late Harold Mosta, manager of Seabreeze Park
(then Dreamland Park), owned the only known Berry-Wood AOW
Auto-Orchestra. We had it playing for a couple of years in the table
area of the main food stand for nickels. It was acquired, I believe,
from Pauly Moore, a local carousel owner, and came with one multi-tune
roll, the last tune of which was "Barney Google."

Harold sold the AOW to the late Jake DeBence, and the machine should
still be in the DeBence Antique Music World museum in Franklin,
Pennsylvania. I imagine the museum's curator, Lynn Zillmer, would be
grateful for a change in the music after all these years.
