Wurlitzer Tracker Bar of Acrylic Plastic
By Matthew Caulfield

Bruce Miller describes a tracker bar made of a solid block of acrylic
plastic that he found on a Wurlitzer 105 band organ he once bought.
The DeKleist band organ owned by Art Curtze, State College, Penna.,
and playing Wurlitzer 165 rolls, has a similar acrylic tracker bar.
Maybe Art can tell something about its history.

The idea of using acrylic to make a tracker bar has seemed like a neat
idea to me. Acrylic is easy to machine and, because it is transparent,
you can see where the holes you are drilling are going.
