Since this subject is drawing a lot of interest, I will mention that
Dorothy (Dee) Clark, Watchung, N.J., has two photo albums of pictures
from the Lauter piano factory in Newark, N.J.  Dee's grandfather worked
in the part of the factory that made the player actions.

Every time the Lady Liberty Chapter has a meeting at the Clark home, we
enjoy Dee's photos.  These pictures give us tremendous insight into who
the factory people were, their dress, their moods, how the pianos and
player actions were made, and factory conditions.

I'll do what I can to facilitate getting these pictures into the AMICA
Bulletin, along with Dee's story.
