Removing a Grand Player Piano Pump
By Robert Soule

Hello list, I am in need of some technical advice. I have a 1923
Weber Duo-Art grand and I need to remove the pump in order to address
a knock. I am about 98 percent sure the knock is a connecting rod
mount that has worked loose where it bolts to the bellows board.

What is the best way to remove and lower this rather heavy item?
Someone on this list has got to have developed a reasonable process
for removing these heavy pumps without damaging the pump, the piano,
or the technician.

Thanks for any advice,
Robert Soule
