Wurlitzer 155 "Monster" Band Organ
By Vic Searle

Wurlitzer 155? This is an instrument I never heard of. I suppose
it used Style 150 music rolls but I am told there are 100 holes in
the tracker bar. Would this organ then use 165 rolls?

As far as I know the standard Wurly rolls are styles 150, 125, 165
and 180, with very few of the latter ever made or existing as the
180s I know of have been converted to play Style 165 rolls.

I've still got about six 165 rolls I want to get rid of as they are
collecting dust under my bed and the workers here in the nursing home
are giving me a hard time.

Thanks for any information anyone can give.
