Larry Kern just called me tonight and informed me himself that he
had a heart attack today and is in the hospital.  He will be having
surgery in the morning but wasn't sure if he was going to make it.

I believe he said he is at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso,
Texas, but you may want to call to confirm that.  Please keep him
in your thoughts and prayers and wish him well.
