Hello MMD.  Does anybody have a piano roll with the signature of
Hupfeld artist Ludwig Wambold on its label?  I have Hupfeld 53852,
played by him, but it has no box.  His signature is on the roll label,
but the label has been ripped up the middle.  I have repaired the
leader and scanned his signature, but the middle of Ludwig is gone
forever.

Specifically, I would like to know whether the flourish with which
he finishes his "d" joins up with the following "w" or whether he
wrote his first name in two parts.  His "w" is mostly illegible too,
and I'd like to know what that looks like.

If anyone has a scan of the signature that they would send me, that
would be great.  Otherwise a description of how the middle of his
Christian name is written would be a great help.
