Kranich & Bach Welte-Mignon (Licensee)
By Rob Edwardsen

I was ready to rent a truck and go the 350 miles from my shop to pick
this up but someone else beat me to it. Now that I have read Eric
Shoemaker's description of the player mechanism I'm not so disappointed.

The piano action in Kranich & Bach grands I have worked on are just as
convoluted and poorly designed, with keyframes that are only 1/4" thick
and whippens that need to thrown away and replaced but can't be purchased
because no one makes them anymore. As a piano I would have to say the
only grand I have seen more pooly designed was a Brambach.
