I wanted to see just how much it would actually cost to make the
reducing nipples, 7/32-inch to 5/32-inch.  I sent off a request for
a price quote to the one manufacturer of brass tubing, and no way
could I make them for the price Player Piano Co. was selling them.

Does anybody have an idea where cheap brass tubing can be bought?
