Electronic Band Organ on YouTube
By Vic Searle

From 1975 to 2002 I was actively engaged in building electronic band
organs, and the late Harvey Roehl asked me to write a book with plans
for building them. The book, "How to Build an Electronic Band Organ",
36 pages, published by Vestal Press in 1986, sold 1000 copies and is
now out of print but I do have a PDF copy.

I recently got a plea for help from a guy who built one of the beasts
in 1988. Fortunately we were able to get the organ fixed in no time.

Now he has posted a video of the organ on YouTube. You know how video
clips can screw up the audio -- the Piccolo is a bit overpowering --
but his is a beautiful instrument and I'm proud to have been able to
help him build it. The YouTube link is

I hope anyone who watches this will leave a comment.
