Building a Blower Box

About a year and half ago I purchased a blower box from PPCo to run
an accordion in an unfinished build-up orchestrion I was renovating.
It cost me around $300.  I was very disappointed with it.

I ended up making a new containment box for the motor, so way before
the demise of PPCo I had made the decision to order the motors from
the source and make my own boxes for future projects.  The motor is
manufactured by Lamb Ametek.  Model M0157, the one PPCo used, is now
listed as obsolete.  The closest substitute, Model MO129 or MO116,
costs around $100.
