FS: Strauch Brothers Player Grand Wippens
By Richard Friedman

I have a couple of dozen wippens to get rid of. These were
manufactured by Strauch Brothers of New York for their "lost motion
compensator" action, where a moveable hammer rail substituted for
the usual unachorda mechanism, and an extra "arm" extends from
below each jack. I understand, after looking at one of the PTG
mail groups, that these were used on some Welte-equipped grands,
although I've seen them on non-players as well.

I'd like to be reimbursed for postage only from zip code 13053.
Otherwise they're free to anybody who needs them to repair a piano.
If more than one person needs some I'll divide them up. I can email
an image to anybody who wants to make sure they've got the same
mechanism. If interested please contact me by June 1st. I won't
be storing them much longer.
