Making Mechanical Musical Doorbell
By Ted Baumgart

I have a little project that will use two 10' tall organ pipes as a
'door chime' in C and C sharp. I'd like to add a snare drum, cymbal,
chime, a few high pipe organ notes, a bird call, and small animated
bird. (What else...?)

I have a squirrel cage and electric motor from a large forced air
furnace. Separately I have an old player piano bellows system with
intact leather bellows and tubes. I doubt the player piano system
will be used in this Rube Goldberg project, but can't say at this time.
I understand the issue is air volume with the pipes. I probably will
build an air reservoir box.

I joined this group to glean for information that can help the project.
I've collected a few formulas for air flow, I'm looking for articles
and books that can help. Suggestions are welcome.
