Value of Seeburg G Clone vs. Seeburg G Replica
By Tom Larsen

I'm buying a Seeburg G clone built up using Seeburg components from
a very fine Wurlitzer Mortuary Piano that Harvey Roehl found new and
never sold, abandoned in the Wurlitzer factory. It plays G-rolls very
well, but needs a case built for it. I had intended to build a Seeburg
G case with Seeburg G stained glass for it.

Now I have the opportunity to buy a Seeburg B also. Is the piano in
a Seeburg G identical to the piano in a Seeburg B, or is it a different
size? If so, would a Seeburg G replica using the Seeburg B piano be
more valuable than a Seeburg G Clone built up from a Wurlitzer Mortuary
Piano? And if so, would anyone in MMD want the Wurlitzer Mortuary
Piano to use to build up a Wurlitzer replica orchestrion?

I would need a G-stack, either to be purchased or built, as the Seeburg
B has an A-stack. Does anyone have a G-stack for sale?

Time is of the essence, as I have to decide whether to buy the Seeburg
B this coming Saturday, May 16. Please call or email me at the address
below. Thanks in advance for your expertise.
