Punching Holes in Music Rolls
By Matthew Caulfield

Robert Streicher, an excellent machinist in Pond Eddy, New York (who
actually lives across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, but with
a New York mailing address; see the MMD archives for all this) used to
make the punch Pat DeWitt describes in the 090514 MMD. But I believe
he stopped making them, because his supply of the basic center punch
mechanism dried up.

I still have one, sized for the Wurlitzer hole size, and it is working
today after years of use. It might be worth contacting Mr. Streicher
to see whether availability has changed.
