FS: Motor Speed Control Assembly
By John McClelland

Greetings all, With regard to Jon Page's inquiry about player
vacuum motor speed control, I retro-engineered the unit that was
sold by Player Piano Company about five years ago and made some up
for my own use. I also made some improvements to the circuit so
there is less chance of the thyristor burning out.

I checked my bit box and I found one that is a complete assembly:
cord to the motor, control box for both forward and reverse roll
operation, a micro switch that engages when it is tripped after the
shift into reroll and goes to the other circuit. It also has an
8-foot power cord to plug into the wall outlet.

Jon (and anyone else): if you are interested in such an animal, contact
me at my email address below and I'll try to help. If I looked
a little further, I think I have enough parts to build one or two more.

Is anyone interested in 49 T-100 Welte rolls?

Best,
John McClelland
