For sale: A Mermod Freres Ideal Soprano Interchangeable Musical Box
with four (4) cylinders.  Cylinder dimensions are 14-3/4" X 2-5/8".
The case is "tiger oak" carved on the front, top and sides in a
graceful organic style with clusters of oak branches, leaves and acorns
and other designs.  The mechanism and case are in superb condition.

This is one of five (5) exhibition pieces from an 1890s exhibition of
Mermod Freres products in New York.  Other examples include one donated
by the Roehl's to the MBSI, and two examples in Texas and one in
