Restoring Scott Player Piano Action
By Steve Grattan

Hi list, I just looked at a player piano for restoration that is
a bit unusual at best. It is a Kensington, built in 1918, with
a Scott player action. This name was [embossed] on the pedal treads
(like STANDARD) but a large S and cott in the middle of the S as well
as on the brass toned plate in the spoolbox. The sustain pedal switch
is part of the tracker bar.

Is anyone familiar with this mechanism so that I do not bid the job
blind? Thank you.
