Hut Music & Electronics MIDI Decoder
By Bruce Newman

[ Ref. 090813 MMDigest, Seek Octet Circuit Board for Perforator ]

Hi Matthew, I don't know about Octet, but Hut Music and Electronics
produces the most affordable MIDI decoder I have been able to find.
They sell a 64- and a 128-note version. I bought a 64-noter for
a pipe organ project that I have not put into service yet, but the
workmanship looks great.

One difference between the Music Hut product and others I've seen
is that Music Hut's board does not have screw terminals for the
note outputs. It uses Molex connectors which could be an advantage
if you want a quick disconnect. Here is a link to their site:

Good luck!
